I have been a cancer survivor for the past 10 years. Today, I saw an advertisement on the display board thanking a nurse who touched my life. So I would like to reflect on the past experience, during my cancer journey, I had to undergo multiple chemotherapy sessions, which were often frightening and overwhelming. I carried a lot of fear, doubts, and uncertainty about how to proceed, and at times it was deeply depressing. There was a moment when I experienced a severe reaction during treatment. In that critical time, the immediate and skilled response of Mrs. Shila Sajan saved my life. I truly believe she is an angel, not only for me, but for many patients whose lives she has touched. Her pleasant and warm smile always brought comfort in my hardest moments. She carried hope and positivity as she went from patient to patient, motivating us with gentle words and encouragement. Her deep knowledge, timely intervention, and constant support guided me through the most difficult part of my treatment. Because of her, I was able to overcome my fears, complete my treatment, and today I proudly stand as a 10-year cancer survivor. For me, Shila will always remain one of my angels who made survival possible.
