2020 DAISY Medical Mission Grant Recipients Announced!


Many nurses serve on medical missions, often using their vacation time and funding the trip themselves or want to participate in a medical mission but do not have the means to make it happen. DAISY wants to help! In early 2019 we kicked off our Medical Mission Grant program as an added opportunity for DAISY Honorees. Each year, up to 10 grants of $1,500 each are awarded to encourage nurses who have demonstrated extraordinary compassion in daily practice to contribute to patient care for the world's most underserved and vulnerable people.

2019 J. Patrick Barnes Grants guidelines and applications are now on-line!

J. Patrick Barnes Grants for nurses conducting research and evidence-based practice projects are now open. The deadline to submit letters of intent is Wednesday, September 4th, for the 2019 funding cycle.

Our goal, as always, is to support both experienced researchers and nurses who have little or no experience in research or evidence-based practice projects.  Please take a look at our digital resource guide's page on this grant program for more information.
