Al, the mother and baby nurse at Ohio Health Mansfield, has taken care of me after my three C-sections. After the first, she remembered me when I came back the two other times. Al has a big, pure heart and takes good care of her patients and their babies as if they were her own.

She makes you feel at home while you are recovering and goes above and beyond. She doesn't make you feel judged and helps in any way she can. You don't even really have to ask for help because she is always one step ahead of you. Al genuinely cares about her patients, and she reassured me every time I had her as my nurse.

Al was one of the nurses who took care of my wife after her C-Section. This was the second time she had cared for her after the procedure. She was my wife's nurse when we had our daughter back in 2022. The whole team is wonderful back in maternity and L&D, but when we saw Al, our hearts were filled with joy. The amount of compassion, dedication, and selflessness Al has is like no other.

She was willing to take time and answer all of our questions and made sure we felt confident with the answers. One of the things that stood out the most was that my wife was having complications breastfeeding, and Al went out of her way to help my wife and make her feel more confident about doing it. My family and I are so thankful for all that she has done. It was truly a blessing to have her as our nurse.
