My father has been in this hospital for almost a week for heart issues. The level of care he has received has been higher than any of us could ever ask for. It must be difficult to stand out amongst so many incredible professionals, but Kasey does.

Her advocacy for the small things is constant and the picture those small acts paint is of someone whose level of empathy is near supernatural. Her attentiveness to our Pop has been a bandage on his anxiety over his condition. She's been the same way with all of us which has been very touching. She has often advocated with the doctors and surgical staff for small changes in care that have led to greater comfort and better outcomes with his stats as he rolls into surgery this afternoon.

We are all more comfortable in this horrific time because of her efforts. Watching her walk into the room this morning after a day off yesterday was surprisingly emotional because we know one of his greatest advocates is with him on this uncertain path.
