Jessica quickly addressed machine alarms and would give mom's hand a squeeze as if to say "I'm here and I care."

My mother was in the ICU, and Jess had shown so much patience and compassion towards her. She quickly addressed machine alarms and would give mom's hand a squeeze as if to say "I'm here and I care." She is also very professional and answers my questions with care, and always leaves me feeling better about her status and care.

I am certain that Jess truly cares about all of her patients. She lets my mother know what will be happening (when she is awake and responsive), and tells her things to show she understands. For example, mom's frustration with the oxygen mask, Jess would say, "I know that is uncomfortable for you, but we may be able to remove it tomorrow."

Jess gives very thorough explanations of what is being monitored and how symptoms are affecting my mom. I feel comfortable knowing Jess is helping my mom.
