My wife and I stayed at Magee for 5 days. Throughout our stay, there was not a single person who exemplified the core values of the DAISY Award more than Stacey. Stacey was exceedingly kind, knowledgeable, and determined to provide nothing but the best care and client services. Stacey made a concerted effort to consistently come back to our room to check on us, provide us with valuable information, and provide us with advice, tips. Stacey is a calming force. Her personality lights up the room from the moment she arrives and leaves. She has a calm, confident demeanor. She provided us with the confidence to persevere. To acknowledge that we can do this. She equipped us with tools to meet the difficult days. Stacey took ownership of our needs and ensured they were followed through to completion, so much so that when Stacey left for the day, she said goodbye and came back the next day, even though it wasn't her responsibility to ensure that we were doing well with the continued promise that she was available should we need anything. Our stay is but one part of Stacey's. The impact that she bestowed on our lives cannot be overrated, which means that every patient she touches beyond us is receiving the same earnest and allotted care. Stacey is the shining star and beacon that would tell us to recommend Magee to others. We ask you to honor her and provide her with this award to ensure that she can continue to live the UPMC core values to all she touches. You have a very valuable asset in your corner.
