This nurse took the time to listen to my story, which is crucial to my plan of care. I am not the average patient in a smalltown ICU. I have an extremely rare genetic condition that most nurses and doctors have never heard of. This nurse listened to me explain my disorder and my medical history. Her level of compassion, caring, and empathy is incredibly high; she has provided me with the absolute best care possible, all with a sunny disposition and a smile under her mask. She has been the best nurse the Lord could ever give me. I will be forever grateful and blessed for the care she has given me. She is an angel in my eyes and deserves an award for her level of concern, caring, and compassion.
