My 71-year-old mom came in due to shortness of breath, body aches, and fever. She was admitted several hours later and taken up to the 4th floor. Our primary nurse for two days straight was Claudia. The best nurse I have come in contact with when taking care of my mom throughout all these years, she has been in and out of hospitals. Claudia has gone above and beyond in not only making my mom feel comfortable but helping us understand what is needed from us to help with getting her back on her feet.

Claudia not only brought a pulse oximeter that has made it easier for us to keep track of how my mom is doing, but also my mom’s favorite equipment to use, the incentive spirometer, which has done wonders for her. We have been doing breathing exercises every hour and haven’t missed once since we received it. My mom has gone from not having an appetite and being on the oxygen machine to making sure that I don’t miss her hourly breathing exercises with the incentive spirometer or checking her pulse and oxygen level when walking around. We look forward to seeing Claudia as a nurse again and can say she is our favorite nurse!
