Her professionalism and constant care with my husband were a blessing, and her extension of kindness and understanding meant so much to a frightened wife
My husband had an ischemic stroke; since that date, he has been in and out of hospitals and therapy units. He came to VTHH with a bladder infection, pneumonia, sepsis, gall bladder issues, and was unable to digest/swallow food. The nursing staff here, and the techs & therapists, have all been wonderful, but it was Vanessa who took warm, kind, and professional care of my husband.
While I sat next to him, fearful of the outcome, Vanessa also reached out to me, explaining each process, reassuring my concerns, and letting me know while things looked difficult, he was moving forward. Her professionalism and constant care with my husband were a blessing, and her extension of kindness and understanding meant so much to a frightened wife. Truly grateful for her care.
