Dr. Scott inspires her students through positive encouragement. She is very enthusiastic about offering a variety of teaching techniques, including making songs and referencing famous people when teaching medications in pharmacology. Her technique helps with retention of the material learned that is long lasting.

Dr. Scott acknowledges every student’s comments and concerns. She actively listens and supports her students. She never tells you that you are wrong but rather helps guide you to find the correct information by encouraging you to use critical thinking.

Dr. Scott treats every student fairly. She does not show favoritism to any student. All of her students have the same resources, instruction, engagement, and respect from her. Dr. Scott is a very good listener. She shows that she cares by listening to her students before providing feedback so that she can address any questions or concerns accurately.

Dr. Scott assists other instructors with classroom instruction and labs when needed to ensure that students on campus do not miss a lecture. She is very helpful in providing supplies and encouragement to students she has instructed in the past, ensuring the continuation of our education.
