I was deeply impressed by how kind, considerate, compassionate, and empathetic she was to my circumstances. My excruciating pain seemed to sometimes come about during shift change. No other nurse was as sensitive to my unbearable pain in the way she was. She went out of her morning routine long enough to give me my much-needed pain meds. My PT was scheduled for 9 am, and by doing this most appreciated act of kindness, it caused additional work, skill, and steps to be added to her very, very busy day. Even though she wore a mask all the time, I could see that her eyes were the window to her kind, compassionate, caring, and empathetic soul. I will remember her always.
