I have worked alongside Tenzin for the past four years on STNU. She continuously displays compassion for everyone around her; coworkers, patients, volunteers, and visitors. She will agree to stay late to avoid the unit working short-staffed. She will go above and beyond for patients and their families, even if it’s inconvenient for her because she is such a caring person. She very frequently works as charge nurse, and when she does, she is the most supportive charge nurse I’ve experienced. She answers call lights and will help pass medications if anyone is struggling to keep up. She also helps improve morale; she has cooked breakfast for employees on holidays. When an employee is celebrating a birthday or any life event, she will make sure to buy a card and have everyone sign it to then gift it to the employee. Lastly, Tenzin is a great teacher. She is smart, patient, and kind. She is truly the backbone of our unit and is such a fantastic nurse!
