I would like to recognize Veronica for the DAISY award to recognize her for the incredible care she showed during my grandma’s stay. At the very start, Veronica made Grandma feel really cared for. Every interaction was filled with kindness, patience, and attentiveness that brought comfort to us, knowing she would be taken care of.

Even during the busiest shift, she never rushed her care, always taking a moment to listen and answer our questions, and offering reassurance. What touched us was when she said, “I always treat my patients like they're my own family.” Veronica exemplifies professionalism, skill, and empathy, and I can attest that she puts her heart into her profession, providing high-quality and compassionate care, which any hospital, especially San Joaquin, will do for all of their patients.

Veronica is an asset to this hospital. This is long overdue because of the rehab PT that grandma is going through, but Veronica deserves this, she is like an Angel that takes care of patients!
