Professor Meadows' humility is admirable. She is mindful that one can never be an expert in an ever-changing scientific field, so the pursuit of information is always necessary. She is constantly learning to help us learn, and she always encourages us to keep expanding our knowledge.
Professor Meadows has been an inspiring nursing professional and psych NP role model. She is dedicated to learning as much as she is dedicated to teaching. She is knowledgeable, has taken the time to get to know each of her students well, and makes us feel more than comfortable seeking her support.
Professor Meadows' humility is admirable. She is mindful that one can never be an expert in an ever-changing scientific field, so the pursuit of information is always necessary. She is constantly learning to help us learn, and she always encourages us to keep expanding our knowledge. Every course that she has taught is the class I've learned the most in each semester.
I don't just feel like one amongst many, I feel well known, respected, and supported by Professor Meadows. She is a great advocate, and her attention to detail with her students makes you feel noticed and cared for.
She really offers us her all, and it is greatly appreciated. There's a reason her students feel motivated, inspired, and excited for our place in the profession. She acknowledges our growth and helps us to see it.
Professor Meadows is gracious and kind to all while also making sure we all understand what is required of us as adults, nursing professionals, and future providers. We feel respected and supported.
Professor Meadows makes it feel easy to engage with her because she is down-to-earth and not intimidating. This makes for a better learning environment because you feel safe with her.
She encourages us to foster relationships with one another and with other cohorts of students to improve our learning and expand our professional networks, which is particularly helpful because I don't feel isolated in this majority online program.
I have had incredibly stressful medical and circumstantial challenges that have impacted my progress in the DNP program. Along the way, I have felt supported by Professor Meadows, and that has helped me to be honest about the challenges I've faced and request the help I've needed. Professor Meadows has gone above and beyond to help me feel supported during circumstances that are out of everyone's control. Her classes are a safe space, and I have made connections with classmates that will continue long term. I am grateful for her.
