Seth’s presence in that room brought a sense of peace during an otherwise uncertain time.
The past four years have brought many challenges and triumphs for our family as we’ve navigated my dad’s health journey. Cancer has undoubtedly changed his life, but with each passing day, we continue to adapt, remain hopeful, and face every obstacle with resilience.
We would like to extend our deepest thanks to Seth, one of the exceptional nurses in your ER. Seth went above and beyond to advocate for my father to remain close to home in Marinette for the IV therapy he needed. Living in a rural area often means having to travel long distances for care, which can be physically and emotionally draining – especially for my parents. So, when my dad expressed his hope to stay local, if all he needed was to manage his atrial fibrillation and receive IV antibiotics, Seth truly listened. He not only heard my dad’s concerns but also took the time to listen to our entire family. Even though we understood that a transfer was still a possibility, Seth’s willingness to pause, to listen, and to advocate on our behalf meant the world to us.
It’s rare to encounter someone who combines clinical excellence with such deep compassion and humanity. Seth’s presence in that room brought a sense of peace during an otherwise uncertain time. His warmth, his way of connecting through small conversations, and his ability to bring smiles into a space that has seen its fair share of hardship did not go unnoticed. Though it may seem like a small gesture to some, to us, it meant everything. Thank you, Seth, not only for providing outstanding care but also for making a difficult moment feel just a little bit lighter.
