My Mom has been hospitalized many times. Nurse Penny Steele is quite possibly the best nurse I've ever witnessed. She anticipates needs despite what must be a heavy patient load outside my Mom's room. Without my asking, she has brought me information on multiple topics like fluid-restricted diet, palliative care, etc. Penny actually physically chased down a PT for an initial evaluation on my Mom. She got my Mom a special mattress I've not seen before at Capital Health to preserve her skin integrity and prevent pressure ulcers. I had mentioned a full-body in-bed bath. Man! Responsive. Efficient. Professional. Caring. Kind. Impressive. I could go on.
