Ma Celeste has a very bright and welcoming personality. Being a new volunteer, and placed in the ICU for the first time, I wasn't quite sure how to approach the medical staff. Ma Celeste made it so easy! She approached me with a big smile and she wanted to know who I was and what my dreams were. She told me how glad she was that I wanted to be a nurse and not a doctor (because so many care extenders are headed to medical school). Ma Celeste is truly the kind of nurse I envision myself being one day. It seems like everyone likes her, other nurses, doctors, and patients. Every time I walk into the ICU her energy always makes me feel like I belong there - like I am a part of the family. Ma Celeste, you are an amazing nurse and you have an extraordinary gift. My dream for myself is for people to see me the way I see you!
