Lisa is compassionate with her patients. She goes out of her way to make her patient and their family feel comfortable.
Lisa was so kind to my uncle who came in with a stroke. She spoke respectfully to him even though he couldn’t communicate verbally. She talked to my aunt and me in a kind, unhurried manner, validating my aunt’s concerns and making the entire situation calmer. She was a blessing to my aunt. Excellent example of nursing care. Thank you.

Lisa doesn't hesitate to lend an ear to a coworker. She's willing to extend herself to a coworker in need. She doesn't judge which makes her approachable and easy to talk to.

Lisa is compassionate with her patients. She goes out of her way to make her patient and their family feel comfortable. She eases their stress by talking "with" her patients, not speaking "at" them.
***
Lisa is always willing to help another staff member. She jumps right in to assist with IV starts, etc. She frequently volunteers to stay over her shift to help out when the department is busy. Lisa will pick up extra call shifts to fill in as necessary for staffing. She is quite personable with her patients. She will follow up with many of her patients by checking on them in the recovery/PACU post-procedure. We love her!!

Lisa has much to offer. She has worked in various hospitals and departments. She brings with her "real life" experiences that work to her advantage at the bedside. She identifies easily with her patients in pre-op, and this creates a less stressful atmosphere for her patients prior to surgery. She will also follow through by checking on them in recovery. Lisa will go out of her way to get what is necessary for her patient in Pre-op. She has gone to the floor to assist with a difficult IV start prior to her patient coming down for surgery. She has also gone to the floor to find missing information from the chart (Certificate of Incapacity, etc.) She doesn't hesitate to embrace new protocols and policies and will give honest feedback when asked. She is a role model for staff and a pleasure to work with in the department.

Her commitment to excellence is a testament to her character. Her contributions are invaluable to our team’s success.
