She was a constant source of reassurance, always willing to answer questions or simply offer a kind word. Her ability to balance empathy and professionalism is truly remarkable.
Kristin was a bright light during an incredibly difficult time for my father and our family. She cared for him during both of his hospitalizations this year—his first in January, and again just a couple of months later. On both occasions, Kristin not only provided exceptional clinical care, but did so with warmth, dignity, and compassion that truly stood out.
During his first stay, my father had an unexpected and deeply embarrassing bowel movement. He was mortified, but Kristin stepped in immediately, reassuring him, calming him, and treating the situation with such grace and professionalism that he never had a chance to feel ashamed. She cleaned everything up quickly and quietly, maintaining his dignity the entire time. What could have been a traumatic and humiliating experience instead became a moment where he felt seen, respected, and safe. When we returned to the hospital weeks later, Kristin remembered us both by name.
That small gesture meant so much. She picked up right where she left off, offering the same patient, steady presence and making sure both my father and I understood what was happening every step of the way. She explained everything clearly, from which medications he was receiving to what updates she’d heard from the various doctors involved in his care. With so many issues being diagnosed and treated at once, it was easy to feel overwhelmed. Kristin made it manageable.
She was a constant source of reassurance, always willing to answer questions or simply offer a kind word. Her ability to balance empathy and professionalism is truly remarkable. She gave my father more than excellent care—she gave him dignity, comfort, and confidence in a time when he needed it most. We are incredibly grateful for Kristin and the heart she brings to her work.
