Kami always goes above and beyond. She is always checking in to make sure we have what we need.

I will never forget the evening that my husband died unexpectedly, and I got the call from my son. Kami was there, jumped right in as a bedside nurse to ensure my safety by allowing one of our nurses to go and drive me to the accident site. She always goes over and beyond not only in her job position but also helps wherever there is a need.

Kami is an amazing NPD. She works hard to go between both hospitals to ensure updates and education are distributed appropriately and promptly. Working with two hospitals and three managers presents unique challenges, but Kami navigates those seamlessly. Whether working with new techs, brand new RNs, or nurses with years of experience, Kami shows patience and grace and adapts to our learning needs. I appreciate her attention to detail and knowing that the two hospitals have needs specific to their locations.

Kami never complains and does not compare or try to make it “one size fits all”. Along with her education duties, Kami participates in all things leadership and jumps in to help with staff-related issues and celebrations. She has most recently asked to be a part of our local Professional Practice Council (PPC).
