I am impressed with your leadership. Not just because you are good at it, but because you do it with a level of compassion, patience, and understanding of what the team needs from you.
During the recent go live at The Center, you were the first person I saw, already assisting Medical Assistants with various issues. Your calm and confident demeanor helped alleviate their anxieties and provided the support they needed. Throughout the week, you continued to guide and assist caregivers, advocating for their needs during the 10am phone call and providing real, authentic support. The term ‘at the elbow for support’ is one that can be overstated. It often is a catch phrase the people use to alleviate concern ahead of a big project or go-live. But for you, I think it is something different. It is real, authentic, and I gather, who you are. You were literally at so many elbows it is hard to keep track, but there is not a doubt in my mind that each one of those caregivers felt supported.

And somehow you blend that with a pragmatic approach that doesn’t water down the work to be done or compromise the quality of how it needs to be done. I appreciate the work you have done with this project and know that you have many other priorities as well. Jennifer went above and beyond to help a non-patient who called through our SCHS One Call team into our Urology Scheduling line. She triaged the patient's needs, coordinated with the Urology team, and contacted the out-of-area PCP to ensure the referral was sent to SCHS Urology. Her efforts provided the caller with the necessary information and support during a critical time.
