Through her facilitation, five posters were accepted at national conferences, highlighting the hard work and innovation of her team.
Jane’s efforts have significantly enhanced RN engagement and satisfaction, making her department a place where staff feel recognized and supported. Her advocacy for specialty certification has ensured that her team remains at the forefront of clinical excellence. Jane's groundbreaking initiatives, including the Surgical Smoke-Free OR and Surgical Safety RSI programs, have elevated the standard of care within perioperative services, benefiting both patients and staff alike.
Moreover, Jane’s journey as a leader was marked by a powerful realization: the importance of stepping back to allow her leaders to grow. Despite initial challenges and uncertainties, Jane made the bold decision to empower her leadership team by giving them the autonomy to take ownership and make decisions.
