Looking back at my first day as a registered nurse, I was a nervous wreck, heart pounding faster than a hummingbird's wings. Thinking of scenarios of everything going wrong and how I’m going to get out of it, Elizabeth appeared in a calming presence, asking, "How can I help?" It wasn't just a polite question; it was her genuine nature, a beacon of hope in the chaos of a new grad's life. As a new graduate nurse, I was filled with both excitement and trepidation. The world of healthcare seemed vast and intimidating, and I often felt lost in the labyrinth of protocols and procedures.
