Her passion for nursing and her belief in the importance of every action a nurse takes were evident in how she spoke.
During my clinical rotation, Elizabeth was an excellent role model. She maintains an environment for students to feel comfortable asking questions. She consistently encourages open communication and reassures us that there are no "bad" questions. She actively listens to our inquiries without judgment, providing thoughtful, detailed responses that enhance our understanding. This approach not only builds our confidence but also motivates us to engage more deeply with the material. Knowing that we have the freedom to ask anything, no matter how basic or complex, makes us feel supported and valued as learners. Her encouragement has helped me overcome doubts and has instilled a sense of curiosity and confidence that I carry with me into my future.

In one of my nursing classes, my nurse educator demonstrated a contagious enthusiasm for teaching when we were learning about patient care in critical situations. Instead of just lecturing on the technical aspects, she shared a powerful personal experience from her own practice where she had to make quick decisions to save a patient's life. Her passion for nursing and her belief in the importance of every action a nurse takes were evident in how she spoke.

During my clinical rotation, she demonstrated excellent collaboration with us. At the end of clinical, she would get us together to discuss patient care strategies, where we could share our experiences, ask questions, and learn from one another. Before we went out on the floor, we would review medications together as a group to get a better understanding of what medications we were handling.
