Nomination #1:
We want to thank Dofi for her excellent care of my husband, K, during his recovery from hip replacement surgery. She was kind, efficient, and cared for his needs while he was a patient. Her smile greeted us every time she walked in our room. She was very patient with all our questions and concerns. She was very thorough in answering all of our questions when we were going over our discharge directions. Thank you, Dofi, for being a great nurse!

From beginning to end, our experience at OrthoIndy Hospital was positively exceptional! Without exception, everyone at OrthoIndy with whom we interacted was courteous, caring, compassionate, and competent, and we also appreciate Dr. Rougraff. We should not have been surprised at the culture we encountered during check-in, surgery, and recovery. There was one RN who exhibited the above-mentioned qualities and then some. That RN is Dofi Jenkins. Not to in any way minimize any of the other outstanding RN’s that cared for us. Nevertheless, Dofi deserves special recognition for her sunny disposition, as well as her thorough and very thoughtful patient care! It has been over two weeks since Dofi Jenkins was our nurse.

Nurse Dofi is the best! Compassionate, caring. I had an RTKA, and I had to spend the night. From the time I was left in her care, it was awesome. She came in with a smile, greeting me with who she was. It made me feel like I was in good hands. Not once while speaking to me/helping me did she not smile. It was all about me and my concerns. Her tech was awesome too. They both, I feel, are there for the patients, the care of the patients. Dofi shared her experience with ortho total knee patients, which I was glad about since it’s my first time. We talked about everything…our families and careers. Like I said, from the time I met her in the hospital until she wheeled me to my car, I was in the best care. Dofi is the best! From the time I checked in at 5:45 am, the check-in clerk was nice and happy to take care of and explain the process to me and my family. OrthoIndy has the best employees from check-in to check-out. Your staff cares about the patients, and that makes me feel I am in good hands.
