Even after receiving our disheartening news, he went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed and that all our questions were answered, and then personally helped get my dad into the car to take him home.
During my visit with my dad, we had Chris, who was very understanding of our concerns regarding my dad having a common issue with getting an IV. Chris went above and beyond to explain everything going on and kept our nerves at bay. Even after receiving our disheartening news, he went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed and that all our questions were answered, and then personally helped get my dad into the car to take him home. My family greatly appreciated the kindness and compassion he showed us.

Chris stayed on top of everything, which made me feel comfortable. And you could tell he enjoys coming to work to help his patients. To me, he stood out from my other nurses. Not to say they weren't good; he just stood out. And greatly appreciated.

My dad, who has dementia and is non-verbal, was a patient in the ER, and Chris was very patient with him and me. He was very understanding and kind. He treated my dad with respect and ensured my dad knew what he was doing before he took any action. His communication was excellent with my dad and me, as his daughter. He continuously checked in on my dad and left a significant impact on me as his daughter. He answered questions to the best of his ability and did his best to ensure my dad's comfort. It can be hard to come across nurses with as much empathy and patience as Chris had, especially when it comes to my dad, so it was very relieving to experience the patience and kindness Chris provided during a high-stress time.
