In the four and a half short years of his life, our son has always hated the doctor, but she broke that mold and went above and beyond to make him comfortable, happy, and excited to be able to see a doctor.
My son came in very sick early in the morning. He was terrified of the doctor and did not want to go. Cassidy Spire quickly made friends with him, offered him several treats, talked about how the oxygen meter was a crocodile, and made everything a fun game. He was so excited and genuinely happy to see him. She went above and beyond and got him donuts, popsicles, juice, and even figured out how to get his favorite cartoon on the TV. He was so happy to have met her that he was calling his friend, and every time he remembers it, he asks to go back.
In the four and a half short years of his life, our son has always hated the doctor, but she broke that mold and went above and beyond to make him comfortable, happy, and excited to be able to see a doctor. I couldn't be happier to bring my kids there. She also did great with my little 1-year-old. She didn't cut any corners. She showed him how all the equipment worked and even let him test it on her first sometimes. Although we went to an ER, Cassidy went above and beyond to make it feel like we were in a pediatric hospital. I can't say enough good words about Cassidy.
I'm so happy she was on shift during our difficult time. It changed my child's whole outlook on doctors for the positive. Cassidy went above and beyond as much as you can go. We came in with a 4-year-old kicking and screaming, terrified of the doctor. Yet after meeting Cassidy, we had a hard time getting our 4-year-old to want to go home. He had donuts, popsicles, and his television show, and had a great time with the nurses. He even refers to them as friends, and every time we pass the hospital, he talks about it with so much excitement. It's also helped us with our future visits as we go to the regular doctor to dissipate that fear that he had.
