My husband and I absolutely adore Ashton. She treated me with the utmost respect during my labor. It was our first baby, and we had tons of questions. Ashton was very informative, down-to-earth, and very attentive to our needs. We had a scary moment where my body absorbed the epidural a little too well. This resulted in my BP dropping, baby's heart rate dropping and I felt very sick. Ashton immediately and calmly called for help and had the right medication and solutions implemented. She helped my husband feel calm in the chaos and helped me feel better quickly. I was vomiting a lot, even on her at a point, and she didn't flinch. Leading up to the epidural, I was very scared. I was frantic and crying. Ashton has such a calming presence. I cannot thank her enough. She is an outstanding nurse. She deserves all the recognition. My husband and I were sad when she had to leave her shift; however, a few days later, she still came into our room to hug us, meet baby and check in! Ashton, you are one of a kind...THANK YOU!
