My father was admitted to 3S for A-fib and stayed for three days. From the moment he arrived, I witnessed the team's "compassion, humor, and professionalism." Every nurse and hospital worker treated him with such kindness, making him feel safe, seen, and truly cared for. My sisters and I were consistently impressed by every interaction we had with the 3S staff. I want to thank Bea, Rita, Roxana, Lee, Mary, Ashley, Matt, Isabella, Sylvia, Godfrey, Angelica (PT), Sydney (Housekeeping), and the nurses at the central desk. Each one was personable, patient, and incredibly efficient. They took the time to listen to my father's stories about old Rhinebeck and even laughed at his jokes! They answered all of our questions with respect and clarity, and always encouraged my dad on his road to recovery. Their smiles truly brightened his day. My dad loved being called "boss" by the dietary service man, and he repeatedly praised Rita's efficiency, saying she was " poetry in motion." He told me, "She didn't waste one movement. She knew what she was doing, and everything she did had a purpose." He also admired Sydney from housekeeping for his dedication and skill, always maintaining a clean and organized room with a friendly smile. And Ashley? My dad called her the " number one blood drawer." He marveled, "She told me there would be a pinch, but I didn't feel a thing! I kept waiting for her to start, and then all of a sudden, she'd be finished. I didn't feel a thing!" These are just a few examples of the many ways the 3S team went above and beyond. They made my father's stay as comfortable and reassuring as possible. I also want to express my deepest gratitude to Bea for her help after my father's discharge. When I discovered his prescribed pharmacy was closed, Bea quickly returned my call, found his prescription online, and helped me locate a 24-hour pharmacy. In under 10 minutes, she contacted the hospitalist and arranged for a holdover prescription. Her patient, efficient, and cheerful assistance rescued me from a potentially difficult situation.

My 18-day stay on 3S, following emergency surgery, was a challenging time. However, the kindness, professionalism, and dedication of the entire 3S Complex Care Unit team made a world of difference. From day two, when I was transferred to 3S after serious complications, I received exceptional care. Phoebe's warm welcome and Nurse Nicole's thorough explanations put me at ease. I witnessed firsthand the incredible teamwork and meticulous planning that went into my care, with nurses often staying late to ensure my well-being. As a CEO, I recognize strong leadership, and Nurse Nicole's skills and leadership were truly remarkable. Phoebe, thank you for your unwavering support. You consistently checked on me, patiently answered countless questions from my wife, Traci, and my family, and always offered positive reinforcement. You and your staff are truly angels. I'm also deeply grateful to the nurses who directly cared for me: Nicole, Brett, Agnes, Isabella, Fatima, Monica, Ramune, Michelle, Kat, Mona, Olivia, Artemis, and Phoebe. Brett's kindness and positive attitude during difficult times were especially appreciated. He kept my spirits up when I needed it most.
