A New DAISY Nomination Experience Is Almost Here!
A simpler way to manage nominations, better tools for your DAISY program, and more possibilities for the
future.
We are on the cusp of transitioning to our new DAISY nomination platform!
We know that any change can bring questions and a little uncertainty, so we created this page to help you know what to expect, what you need to do, and where to turn if you need help.
We'll update this page as we move through the transition process. Bookmark it to access future updates,
training materials, and more.
WHO- Who is this change for?
This transition is for DAISY partner organizations currently using a DAISY provided online nomination form.
DAISY Coordinators and other authorized users will receive individual accounts to access and manage their organization’s nominations.
Patients, families, colleagues, and others submitting nominations will not need an account. They will continue to be able to share their stories of extraordinary nursing care through your organization’s DAISY nomination form.
WHAT- What is changing?
We are moving to a new DAISY nomination platform designed specifically to better support our partner organizations and the future of the DAISY Award.
The new platform will give Coordinators a personal dashboard and improved tools for managing nominations, including:
• Tracking nominations by nurse
• Tracking nominations by unit
• Easier nomination management
• Individual, secure Coordinator accounts
• Enhanced security for nomination stories and account information
• More opportunities for customization
• New features and improvements as the platform continues to grow
And this is just the beginning! The new platform gives us much more flexibility to continue developing tools based on the needs of our DAISY community.
WHEN- When is this happening?
Account setup begins Monday, October 5, 2026.
Account setup emails will begin going out in batches on October 5. Your email will include instructions for creating your password and accessing your new account.
Because messages will be sent in batches, not everyone will receive their email at the same time.
Before October 5:
Please contact your IT team and ask them to allow emails from no-reply@verificationemail.com and make sure you will be able to access the account verification link contained in the email.
Beginning October 5:
Watch your inbox for your account setup email.
If you have not received it by Tuesday afternoon, October 6:
Check your Spam or Junk folder and ask your IT team to confirm the message has not been blocked or quarantined.
WHERE- Where will I manage my nominations?
Once your account is activated, you will access your organization’s nominations through your new DAISY nomination platform dashboard.
You will log in using your email address and your own secure password.
Your dashboard will become your home for viewing and managing the nominations submitted to your organization.
For now, keep using your current nomination form, links, and QR codes.
Please do not remove your current nomination form, change links on your website, or reprint QR codes until you receive instructions from DAISY.
WHY- Why is DAISY making this change?
Our nomination program has grown tremendously, and we want the technology behind it to grow along with our DAISY community.
The new platform gives us the opportunity to create a better experience for Coordinators while strengthening the security and management of the extraordinary stories entrusted to us.
It also gives DAISY greater flexibility to listen to our Coordinators and continue improving the platform over time.
Our goal is simple: make it easier for you to manage your DAISY program so you can spend more time doing what matters most: ensuring nurses receive the meaningful recognition they deserve.
HOW- What do I need to do?
Right now, there is just one thing we need from you.
Contact your IT team and ask them to allow emails from:
no-reply@verificationemail.com
Please also ask them to make sure you can access the verification link within the email.
Then, beginning October 5, keep an eye on your inbox for your account setup instructions.
That’s it!
There is no need to change your nomination form, website links, QR codes, or other DAISY materials right now. We will let you know when it is time to take any additional steps.
