Oliver had 4 separate nominations:  1: Oliver was my nurse. He was not only caring and kind, but quite comforting, as I was quite upset because I didn't seem to be getting any better. He had to calm me down a couple of times because my blood pressure is still low. I am on new medications and am not getting any better. After being in here 8 days, I seem to be getting worse. I am quite upset and am scared that they are not going to be able to figure this out. Oliver has shown kindness and concern all day to me. He is a great asset to your team.

2: Oliver was far and always the best nurse I have ever had in my entire life. He is absolutely the most dependable, caring, considerate nurse ever. He got to know me and gave me all of the answers to any and all questions. He is absolutely deserving of the DAISY Award.

3: Oliver has given my wife extraordinary care and compassion to keep her as comfortable and warm as possible. While explaining to me my wife's new medications & purpose. I am diabetic, and when I missed lunch at 2 pm and was getting shaky, Oliver brought me a ham sandwich and soda. Oliver has always been very attentive to my wife's and my every need. He is a perfect RN and very knowledgeable.

4: Oliver and I worked together in a situation where I was in GREAT PAIN. Oliver brought me my medication ASAP! He made me feel better about myself when I felt low. Oliver's level of compassion far exceeds the ordinary! Oliver's clinical skill level and his great compassion toward others, as a model of order, far exceed any nurse's skill level I have seen or experienced! I noticed it immediately, and he should teach others this level of skill, compassion, and love towards other nurses and patients.
