My husband was admitted to the ICU , and he was fortunate to receive care from Cesar. For the next three days, Cesar treated him and our family with care and compassion. Initially, Cesar was scheduled to be off, but even though the weather was supposed to be amazing, he rescheduled to work. My husband needed a lot of care and attention, and Cesar was there even though I could see he was fatigued. We are very grateful for his sincere dedication to his job and thankful that he was the nurse assigned to my husband.

My dad was admitted to the ICU in the middle of the night and was provided with decisive, professional care by the entire ICU team. Cesar was especially attentive and caring. Our understanding is that he even changed his schedule so he could continue caring for my dad until he emerged from the worst. In addition to the exemplary care, Cesar made a real effort to make my dad comfortable. Seeing my very tall father barely fit in the hospital bed, Cesar sought out a bed extension (and when the first didn't fit, he kept searching until he was successful). This initially small gesture made a huge difference in my dad's comfort, especially as his time in the hospital stretched beyond 2 weeks.
