I would like to recognize Nurse Bailee from the 10th Floor for the exceptional care she provided my mother during the next phase of her recovery.

After my mother's condition improved in the ICU, she was transferred to the 10th floor. This transition can often feel like a step down in intensity, but Bailee ensured that the same level of attentiveness and compassion continued throughout her care.

From the moment we arrived, Bailee worked seamlessly to meet my mother's needs. Whether she was monitoring her condition, assisting with her care, or ensuring her comfort, she was always there. There was never a moment when my mother felt overlooked, and that gave our family tremendous peace of mind.

Like many patients recovering from critical illness, my mother struggled with fatigue and often slept through meals. Without hesitation, Bailee would reheat her food multiple times, patiently making sure she had the opportunity to eat whenever she was able. It may seem like a small gesture, but to our family it spoke volumes about her dedication and compassion.

Bailee, along with the other staff members involved in my mother's care, was attentive, responsive, and genuinely kind. They consistently checked on her, ensured her needs were met, and treated her with dignity and respect. Their teamwork stood out in a way that is both rare and deeply appreciated.

During a period of recovery that could have felt uncertain, Bailee and the entire team provided comfort, consistency, and a calming presence. Their commitment to patient-centered care truly embodies the spirit of the DAISY Award.

I am incredibly grateful for the care my mother received and wholeheartedly believe that Bailee is exceptionally deserving of this recognition.
