Catherine was by my side from the moment I was pulled into my pre-op room. She was so patient and attentive to every concern I had. After finding out that we both have POTS, she continuously advocated for me to everyone who came into the room and even taught me more about my own diagnosis based on her own experiences.

Getting an IV started on me is always rough, but she had so many ideas to try. She made me truly feel that my comfort was a priority. Cathy's kindness also shone through brightly to my partner, explaining things to him a second or third time after already explaining it to me.

Following my procedure, the hospital blankets were my best friend; they were holding pressure to my abdomen. Once I was discharged, Cathy went out to her car and grabbed a pillow for me to use in the car for the ride back home with no intentions of getting it back. She was truly the shoulder I needed to lean on and left such a big impact on my heart— one I didn't even know I needed. Thank you, Catherine!!"
