Tiffaney does not simply perform tasks; she spreads goodness and light during some of the most vulnerable moments in patients’ lives.
What began as an expected three-day hospital stay at Barnes following my daughter C's brain surgery turned into a fifteen-day stay in the Neuro ICU and SDU due to serious postoperative complications. Upon discharge, her physician recommended transfer to TRISL for intensive physical, occupational, and speech therapy.

The level of commitment, compassion, kindness, and genuine care demonstrated by Tiffaney Pointer transformed what could have been an overwhelming experience into one filled with hope and encouragement. She quickly became one of C's greatest cheerleaders and a steadfast supporter.

Her encouragement was not fleeting or routine. Every single time she entered her room, she was positive, upbeat, knowledgeable, and fully present. Tiffaney answered C's questions thoughtfully, provided meaningful education, offered practical advice, and most importantly, treated her with dignity and respect. Because of this, C felt safe opening up to her; something that was critical to her emotional healing as well as her physical recovery.

As her mother (and a retired nurse), it brought me tremendous comfort to walk onto the unit on the days Tiffaney was working. No matter their age, when our children are infirm, we want their well-being guarded with vigilance and compassion. Tiffany did exactly that.

She exhibited kindness and attentiveness to our entire family. Tiffaney consistently met and matched our gaze. She was engaged. She was present. She was human. That matters more than words can express.

Tiffaney is an exemplary employee. Her professionalism, warmth, and emotional intelligence are a perfect fit for rehabilitation care. Tiffaney does not simply perform tasks; she spreads goodness and light during some of the most vulnerable moments in patients’ lives.
