My dad was sick with pneumonia for 10 days. Nurse Josias took care of him on and off. My dad became terminal and requested comfort care. Josias was his nurse on his final day of life. He was so kind to our entire family. He made sure my dad was comfortable until he took his last breath. He checked in with us constantly to make sure we were ok and asked us if we needed anything. He allowed me, being an anxious daughter, to ask him questions anytime I had concerns. He treated my dad very gently and had great compassion for all of us. Even though Josias had other patients, he made sure we were always taken care of. He has the most caring, kind, and gentle spirit of anyone that I’ve ever known. My dad talked about him throughout his care. Josias took the time to speak with my dad and treated him like a human being instead of just a patient. We cannot emphasize enough how much he made the worst day of our lives more bearable with his kindness!
