Aiden was very caring and gently nurturing with all the interactions we had.
This was my fourth hospital stay in different hospitals in the past two months. We had just moved to the area, so this was my first visit to OMC.

The nurse during my first night was Aiden. I haven’t had many male nurses, so I was a bit apprehensive. Aiden was very caring and gently nurturing with all the interactions we had.

Aiden apologized for having to insert an NG tube in my nose but did it very skillfully. He always shared with me what he was doing for my care and asked my opinions and if I had concerns. He always took the time to address my concerns.

He displayed an understanding of my feelings and always communicated respectfully. All of his actions embodied the utmost professionalism, and I felt comfortable that he had all the skill and knowledge to handle my medical needs.

Aiden was my nurse for only two of the 11 days I stayed in the hospital, but I hoped each day he would be back to my area.

I did see him in the hallway one other time, and he stopped to ask how I was doing.

During my stay I encountered many wonderful nurses in this facility, but Aiden made a real impression on me – being the first nurse I saw and how important it was to have a nurse that made me feel supported and safe and welcomed into this hospital.
