After my son had a rough day, I received a call in the evening from him stating that he was feeling weird and he wasn't really acting like himself, so I called the nurses' station to let them know. A short time later, when I called the nurses' station to get an update, Stephanie was quick to fill me in on the situation and reassure me that everything was OK and that a close eye was being kept on him.

Over the next couple of hours, she made multiple calls to me with any tiny little update so that I knew right away everything that was going on and reassure me he was alright. She took the time to listen to everything I said and explain things to me without ever making me feel like she didn't have the time or that she needed to hurry up and do something else.

Working in the medical field in a 24-hour facility myself, I'm well aware of how busy nurses are. I know that taking that much extra time to help both my son and me likely made other parts of her night more difficult, but she never gave any indication that that would even cross her mind.

Stephanie definitely went way above and beyond, taking her time to thoroughly discuss the situation with me and help ease my worries.
