I have been told by multiple patients how amazing JJ is over the past year or so I have worked with him. It seems to be a common theme for patients to talk very highly of him when I come in after JJ.

In the last week, I had two patients express to me in detail just how fantastic he was. The one stated how she wants him to take care of her every time she is in the hospital. He treated her like a "queen," she stated. She truly felt seen and heard while under his care. She stated she could tell he truly cared for her well-being.

The other patient had been admitted a year ago and was back to our unit. Over the past year, she hasn't forgotten about him and remembers how great he made her feel. While she was here the last time, she needed a 1:1, and that 1:1 was JJ. He stood out to her because he pulled the chair next to her in the bed and asked what movie she would like to watch. She was going through a very hard time, and his friendliness was exactly what she needed. She stated she didn't feel so alone. When she was admitted to the unit again, she was wondering if he was still here so she could tell him just how wonderful he was.

JJ is making a truly memorable impact on his patients and deserves recognition.
