We want to take a moment to recognize an employee who has served 5 years as the Secretary of the Unit-based Council. We are grateful for Natalie Beardsley's outstanding contributions in working together to promote continuous improvement in our unit. She is the type of person who is first to volunteer for what needs to be done, donate funds for our projects, never misses helping with our outdoor activities, even the hard work of grilling BBQ for 38 people. She offers her home for our winter gathering, and even if she is not part of UBC anymore, she wants to continue being a host for our unit.

For five years, Natalie has provided us, especially me, support and steady guidance; she is never in it for the credit, purely for the team. Her efforts matter to all of us; her diligence, dependability, and reliability are commendable. We will miss her at UBC and wish her the very best in taking a new role as charge nurse in our unit.
