I recently had an MRI appointment for my 2-month-old baby, and during this stressful time, the nurse caring for us demonstrated every quality of a DAISY Award Nominee. From when we arrived, she showed exceptional kindness and compassion. She took extra time to explain the procedure in a calm and reassuring way, making sure I understood each step and felt comfortable. What truly stood out was how gently and carefully she handled my baby. She treated him as if he were her own, ensuring he was safe, warm, and relaxed throughout the process. My sister was with me, and the nurse recognized how worried we were. She offered comfort, reassured us, and went above and beyond to make the entire experience as smooth as possible. Her dedication, empathy, and genuine care made a difficult day much easier. She is the perfect example of what the DAISY Award represents.
