Faith Nugent is a strong and knowledgeable nurse who has dedicated her career to taking care of the incarcerated population. She is willing to assist anyone who needs help, as evidenced by her volunteerism to assist Indian Creek and Appalachian during their times of need.

She recently spent two weeks at Appalachian CCAP while the Health Authority was in training. She walked into a facility where she had never been and met the needs of the patients, performed sick call and doctor call, and managed all the tasks required to keep the facility running.

At Harrisonburg CCAP, Faith Nugent is a valuable member of the nursing team. She is willing and able to perform any tasks asked of her and can predict what needs to happen next. She assists the Health Authority so that the facility runs smoothly and has everything it needs to meet the needs of the patients. She covers for the Health Authority and can perform her job duties as well as the additional duties. She is a whiz on the computer and helps keep the facility organized and efficient.

Faith Nugent cares for her patients. She performs sick call and provides timely medical care. She does not hesitate to reach out to her peers or the provider to obtain prompt, higher-level care. She manages the KOP medication program and makes sure that all refills and reorders are handled in a timely manner. She is quick to bring in a patient to discuss medication issues and work through challenges. The patients know they can come to the medical department, and Faith Nugent will assist them.

On a personal note, Faith Nugent is a bright spot in my day. She always has a witty response that makes me smile. She also has an infectious giggle that makes working in the medical office such a joy. She never has a negative word to say about anyone and puts others above herself. She is selfless and makes the work effortless.

Faith Nugent is also going back to school, working toward her RN. I am so very proud to say that I work with Faith Nugent!
