In 1993, Yana found herself in New York after emigrating from Uzbekistan. She attended Queens College, and in 2010 she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She went on to further her education, obtaining her BSN from Molloy College in 2013.

Ms. Bigelman became part of the Calvary family in June of 2014, and in 2018, she was promoted to CCC of the Brooklyn Campus.
