Scotty could write a book on what it means to be a labor and delivery nurse.
Scotty went above and beyond to ensure my wife was taken care of during the birth of our son. Scotty could write a book on what it means to be a labor and delivery nurse. He made sure to listen to our concerns when we arrived and strived to make sure that we were in a comfortable environment to deliver our baby.

It was the first night shift when we met Scotty and were immediately shocked by his attentiveness. Without asking, he gave us informative and direct information, which helped us make informed decisions about medications I was new to. He took all our questions with grace and compassion and frequently checked on us, staying hands-on with assistance and patient care.

I was in triage being seen for high BP a few days before my induction for our baby boy. Scotty was our nurse. He instantly made me feel right at home and at ease. When we later returned for our induction, he greeted us immediately. It was nice to see a familiar face when nerves were high. He was not our assigned nurse during our labor but always went out of his way to check on us. He would even pop in to let us know he was leaving during shift change. Little things like that go a long way. We were so happy he was able to be a part of our delivery. I will forever be grateful for the experience that all of our nurses provided. L & D nurses are superheroes.
