Her gentle, loving care went above and beyond when mom was confused and scared and in a medical crisis.
My beautiful mom had a stroke that started her in critical care, then transitioned her to Progressive Care. Cari was the primary nurse who cared for my mom over a three-day period. Her gentle, loving care went above and beyond when mom was confused and scared and in a medical crisis.
Cari calmed and cared for her in every way. She always got down on my mom’s level to talk to her gently and encouraged her that she was making progress; her brain just needed to rest because she was doing so much hard work and was injured. She helped my mom progress positively after a setback and always communicated clearly what she was doing.
When she saw my sister and me upset when my mom took a turn, she comforted us too. She brought us water and checked on us, not just my mom. She is truly a tender and compassionate caregiver. She has excellent instincts for meeting all a patient’s needs: physical, mental, and emotional. I’m so grateful for her tender, loving care of my mom.
