I want to recognize Zharra because not only is she a fantastic, kind, caring, and compassionate human being. She is an excellent nurse. While I had other nurses, she is one of the two during my most recent hospitalization who really stuck up for me and did everything she could to finally get me appropriate pain management relief that I needed that the other nurses did not want to deal with. She was able to get me the order for the pain medication that was best for me for these kinds of situations, while I was admitted. I don’t know that you guys quite understand.

What an excellent nurse you have in her. I’m just very thankful that my past few hospitalizations on that unit, she’s been my nurse at least one time during each admission and she always goes above and beyond to try to help me and advocate for me when I cannot do so myself. I am quite complicated as a patient due to some of my diagnoses that I carry, and to have a nurse stick up for you and advocate so hard for you makes all the difference in the world. I don’t think I can articulate the appropriate wording to not only be thankful and grateful to her for her being my nurse, but also that the entire unit is very lucky to have her.
