Emma shared such tender compassion during the loss of our father/father-in-law. She explained things to us that brought clarity when we were tired; she showed compassion to Dad, ensuring he was comfortable.

End of life is hard to accept, but it makes it so much easier when you have nurses like Emma who treat your loved one with respect, dignity, and such compassion.  We felt it. After Dad had passed away, Emma embraced us as if she shared in our loss.  Embraced us as if she loved him too.  She not only took care of Dad, but she also took care of our entire family.  

When we walked out the door and had to leave Dad for the final time, I can't tell you the peace we had knowing it was she who was still with him.  She would watch over him to ensure he was still treated with the dignity he deserved.  She is a blessing from the good Lord above.
