Three rounds of vaccines: Stephanie calmed me, related to me, and helped with the recovery process of getting vaccinated. She went absolutely above and beyond to provide water, an ice pack, time, and space to recover from a very painful vaccine, knowing I also have a fear of medical needles.

She was very personable and relatable during my visit, assuring me every step of the way and creating a calm and safe environment. Stephanie deserves to be recognized for her efforts and care as a human and as an essential worker!

Out of all the nurses I've had during each and every visit throughout my pregnancy, Stephanie P. is the best. I had her multiple times as a nurse, two of which I was sent down to the OB ED because my high blood pressure caused me to develop preeclampsia. During those two visits, she was my nurse, and she was so comforting, staying positive through it all and assuring us that everything would be okay as she sent us on our way.

Any questions I had, she didn't hesitate to answer. Whether it was in person or on MyChart, she was always right there. During my hospital stay after I delivered my baby, she called me because she saw that I had delivered and was just checking up on how the baby and I were doing. As much as she may not know, that made my whole day, realizing that she was still thinking about me three days later, before being admitted.

I could keep going on a couple of different instances where she went above and beyond, but I'll try to keep it short. She is definitely deserving of this DAISY Award because of how well she cares for her patients and how well she shows it!
