I came today for an allergy test. My husband had an accident where a tree fell on him almost two years ago and has had numerous surgeries to fix his right tibia, which was broken by the tree. He has been handicapped and in pain for almost two years, so the pressure of this is overwhelming.

The nurse’s name is Lisa Maydian; she took a few minutes to talk to me about this aspect of my condition and suggested a plan. This was a huge release to me and helped me recenter my energy on getting well.

As a nurse, you would think I would be immune to nervousness at the doctor’s office and around shots. Well, it turns out I am not.
