Sarah demonstrated extraordinary compassion and attentiveness with every interaction. Sarah recently demonstrated this when a patient had to be admitted for cardiac evaluation following chest pain prior to scheduled shoulder surgery. While the tests ultimately showed no concerning results, the experience was understandably stressful and unexpected for the patient and his wife. She was sensitive to the emotional toll of the situation. She consistently checked in, not just on physical symptoms, but on how the patient was coping with the change in plans.
